Dr. Gauri Joshi is an eminent Neurosurgeon, who is amongst the very rare genre of ladies in this field. A topper throughout her curriculae, she choose this field for it’s advances and challenges in treating the maladies of human brain.
She has graduated from prestigious Sayajirao Medical College, Vadodara – Gujarat, where after her MBBS, she pursued Masters in the field of Surgery from the same University. During her residency programme she was attracted towards the field of Neurosurgery.
After working with an eminent Neurosurgeon she choose to super specialize in the same field at the Top University in India – Post Graduate Institute (PGI) in Chandigarh.

Upon completion of her super specialization in the year 2000, wherein she excelled in surgeries and research, she was appointed as Assistant Professor in Neurosurgery at Govt Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) Sector-32 Chandigarh.
Seven years of Governmental Service, she choose to start her private practice in 2007. She is presently working in one of the Multi-Specialty Hospitals in Panchkula since 2008.
One of the honest, compassionate surgeon, who has got a very fine hand for the nuances of Neurosurgery and is very fastidious and meticulous in her work so as to ensure that the patients get the best of the results.
She has been consistently delivering wonderful results in the field and also is practicing Advanced Spine Surgery which is minimally invasive (Endoscopic)
A Spiritually inclination helps in her compassionate approach and also to do a lot of philanthropy, runs her own NGO – Vrinda Foundation which also helps in poor patients treatment and providing free medical check-ups in many orphanages in the Tricity.
